Job summary

CSL Behring seeks a Senior Scientist in Quantitative Modeling & PK to support non-clinical drug development from candidate selection to first-in-human dose prediction. You will combine modeling with PK, pharmacology, and non-clinical development knowledge to inform critical decisions.

You will design informative studies, integrate diverse datasets, develop predictive models, and translate quantitative insights into actionable development recommendations within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.Sc., or equivalent degree in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Biology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience applying modeling and simulation approaches to support non-clinical drug development.
• Strong quantitative modeling skills, with experience in PK/PD, PBPK, QSP, and/or other mechanistic modeling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Apply fit-for-purpose quantitative modeling approaches to address non-clinical development questions (candidate selection, study design, FIH dose).
• Develop and apply modeling methods including exposure-response, PK-target binding, empirical and mechanistic PK/PD, PBPK, QSP.
• Contribute to design, analysis, and interpretation of non-clinical PK, PK/PD, and mechanistic studies to reduce risk.
• Perform non-compartmental analysis (NCA) of PK and TK data and prepare reports for regulatory submissions.
• Communicate quantitative insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to regulatory submission documents with quantitative analyses and justifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially non-clinical pharmacology, toxicology, translational research, and clinical pharmacology.
