Job summary

Swissquote Bank seeks a Compliance Officer in the Compliance Support and Sanctions service to join our Compliance Department. You will perform sanctions due diligence, monitor regulatory developments, and support management with reporting and policy drafting.

You will work in a multicultural, international environment, using your analytical mindset and excellent writing and communication skills in French and English to guide decisions and strengthen the bank's financial security.

Qualifications

• Expert in Financial Sanction.
• Good knowledge in Swiss banking and financial laws.
• Analytical and methodological approach.
• Very good writing and communication skills in French and English.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent command of Powerpoint.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high workloads.
• Strong team player who enjoys working in multicultural, dynamic, technological and international environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanctions due diligence on clients and related parties during onboarding and reviews.
• Analyze sanctions hits escalated by Compliance Monitoring and assess exposure to sectoral sanctions.
• Provide recommendations regarding acceptance, rejection or escalation of client relationships.
• Support and advise other compliance officers on sanction related topics.
• Regulatory monitoring on sanctions news and analyze impact on clients.
• Draft and maintain sanctions policies and procedures.
• Participate in calibration and optimization of sanctions screening systems.
• Contribute to bank risk monitoring and ad hoc reporting requests.
