Job summary

Swissquote is seeking an Associate-Director to lead the Compliance Monitoring team in a fast-growing, global digital bank. The role reports to the Head AML Transaction Monitoring and focuses on supervising operations, people management, and governance in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

Requirements include a university degree in Law or Economics (compliance certificate a plus), 5–7 years in financial services compliance, and fluent English and French. German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a Compliance function within the financial industry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination and performance management.
• Oversee AML reviews of high-risk transactions and ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee sanctions screening and investigations of potentially suspicious clients.
• Drive policy and procedure optimization and represent Compliance in strategic projects.
• Provide advisory guidance to senior management and front-line teams.
