ABB Schweiz AG in Morges seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth in our Motion, Local Unit. You will spend about 80% of your time at customer sites, acquiring new partners and expanding existing relationships while translating technical and business needs into value-driven solutions.

The role blends hybrid work with field-based activities, focusing on electric motors and variable frequency drives (LV & MV). Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of sales experience with strong knowledge of electric motors and LV/MV drives.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% on-site.
• Interest in energy efficiency and sustainable solutions; fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 80% of time on site with customers and develop new business.
• Provide technical consulting on electric motors and LV/MV drives and tailor solutions.
• Communicate value of products focusing on energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction.
• Build trust, identify stakeholders, and position ABB solutions.
• Monitor market trends in drives and motion and contribute ideas.
