Our Client is a prominent global manufacturer of industrial automation components, known for high-quality products such as sensors, monitoring relays, timers, energy management systems, solid state-relays, safety devices, and fieldbus systems. With a strong presence across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, the company delivers automation solutions through a network of owned sales companies and independent national distributors.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sales Engineer for our operations in Denmark. This role involves new business development and achieving the corporate sales and marketing plan for the country. Reporting directly to the National Sales Company Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving and supporting the development of our National Sales Company, aiming to meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Regularly visit potential customers to develop product sales within Denmark.
  2. Target key customer groups including Original Equipment Manufacturers, System Integrators, and Panel Builders to create and increase market demand for electronic/electrical automation component products.
  3. Implement continuous sales development strategies to enhance sales and profitability in the region.
  4. Develop and execute action plans with product managers and sales teams to achieve sales objectives.
  5. Identify strategic market opportunities in Denmark and optimize sales channels for our products.
  6. Prepare detailed sales reports on volume, potential sales, and business forecasts.
  7. Maintain and expand the customer base, including developing new customers.
  8. Manage CRM data for customers and projects, including price agreements and negotiations.
  9. Deepen understanding of applications within industrial automation and communicate the added value of our products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A strong passion for the Industrial and Building Automation market.
  • Ability to work independently and directly with local customers to meet sales goals.
  • Effective teamwork and independent operation within the assigned territory.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs across applications and commercial acumen.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Danish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools.
