Proton is seeking a Senior Rust Developer to join the Proton Drive team in Geneva. You will design, implement, and maintain Rust libraries powering Proton Drive, collaborating with backend, frontend, Mac, Windows, and mobile teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance across client applications.

You will guide architecture, review code, and promote secure coding practices while staying current with Rust innovations to push Proton's privacy-focused products forward.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on the Rust programming language.
• Strong expertise in Rust language features, concurrency, and ownership model.
• Web and/or mobile development: experience in developing libraries for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborative skills: proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Security focus: understanding of secure coding practices.
• Version control: proficient in Git.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
