Zusammenfassung

RIVR Technologies AG is building Physical AI with autonomous robots for real-world doorstep delivery. We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineering Lead to design electro-mechanical robot assemblies, lead a growing hardware team, and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure safe, reliable hardware.

You will oversee prototypes, testing, and documentation, drive design for manufacturing, and mentor engineers.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or higher in relevant field (Engineering/Robotics/Automotive/Aerospace).
• At least five years of industry or research experience; PhD experience acceptable.
• Proficient in CAD software for mechanical design.
• Deep understanding of actuators, motors, materials, DFx, power transmission, mechanisms, and modern manufacturing technologies.
• Leadership experience managing teams, contractors, and OEM/ODM relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills with debugging and hardware optimization.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop electro-mechanical assemblies for robots.
• Build and test prototypes to evaluate functionality and performance.
• Work closely with electronics engineers to integrate PCBAs into mechanical structures.
• Perform rigorous testing to verify reliability, durability, and safety of hardware.
• Create detailed hardware documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and testing protocols.
• Build, lead and mentor a hardware engineering team.
• Provide expert guidance to product managers and executives for strategic hardware decisions.
• Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices to streamline knowledge sharing.
• Improve design standards and processes through active participation in design reviews.
