Job summary

BULLIT MANAGEMENT SERVICES LIMITED is seeking an experienced Release Manager to own the Release Management discipline across several projects in a banking environment. The role involves coordinating with Release Coordinators and project teams to align release plans with milestones and dependencies.

You will drive end-to-end release activities, ensure traceability from requirements to deployment, and report on release health and risks to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project or programme delivery.
• Release Manager or comparable Release Management role within transformation programmes.
• Strong banking-domain experience with private banking products and processes.
• Good understanding of complex system landscapes typical in wealth management or private banking.
• Proven ability to manage releases across multiple concurrent projects and delivery streams.
• Practical experience managing integrated releases across SIT and UAT cycles within regulated environments.
• Experience with large, complex application landscapes (500–1,000 apps) across multiple booking centres.
• Ability to adapt Release Management processes and governance to a large transformation programme.

Responsibilities

• Own the Release Management discipline for up to five projects in parallel.
• Develop and maintain integrated release plans aligned with milestones, dependencies, risk profiles and environment availability.
• Coordinate end-to-end release activities across multiple projects, teams and suppliers while ensuring alignment with enterprise Change and Release Management principles.
• Lead regular release coordination meetings to monitor readiness, resolve blockers, manage dependencies and track risks.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability across requirements, design, development, testing, defects and deployment using JIRA and Confluence.
• Identify, monitor and coordinate cross-project dependencies and release-related risks.
• Oversee staging and promotion of code and configuration changes across environments with Environment Management.
• Monitor release health and quality through KPIs such as deployment success rate, regression pass rate, defect leakage and rollback frequency.
• Provide reporting on release status, milestones, risks, dependencies and issues to Release Management and programme leadership.
• Support release-readiness assessments ahead of key test cycles and deployments.
• Facilitate lessons-learned and drive continuous improvement of Release Management processes.
• Support programme activities such as data refreshes and dress rehearsals, including after-hours work when required.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project or programme delivery, preferable within complex banking or financial‑services organisations.
• Demonstrated experience in a Release Manager or comparable Release Management role within transformation programmes.
• Strong banking‑domain experience with a sound understanding of private banking products and processes.
• Good understanding of complex system landscapes typically found within wealth management or private banking.
• Proven ability to manage releases across multiple concurrent projects and delivery streams.
• Practical experience managing integrated releases across SIT and UAT cycles within regulated environments.
• Experience working within large, complex application landscapes, ideally involving 500–1,000 applications across multiple booking centres.
• Ability to adapt Release Management processes and governance to the specific needs of a large transformation programme.
