Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Cluster Release Manager to oversee end-to-end releases across a major transformation programme involving up to five parallel projects. The role requires governance, dependency tracking, and strong communication with programme leadership, project leads, and technical teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 8 years in IT project delivery, with a background in release management within complex environments such as banking or financial services.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant ITIL, SAFe, Agile, Project Management or Release Management certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the Release Management discipline for up to five projects in parallel and coordinate with Release Coordinators and project teams.
• Develop and maintain integrated release plans aligned with milestones, dependencies, risk profiles and environment availability.
• Coordinate end-to-end release activities across multiple projects, teams and suppliers while aligning with Change and Release Management principles.
• Lead regular release coordination meetings to monitor readiness, resolve blockers and track risks.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability across requirements, design, development, testing, defects and deployment (JIRA/Confluence).
• Oversee cross-project dependencies and release-related risks; monitor release health via KPIs and provide status reporting.
