Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking a Senior QA Specialist for the Bioconjugates plant. The role involves QA Bioconjugates activities, reviewing records, and ensuring compliance across Operations, MSAT, QA/QC and Project Management. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates and families.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive deviation management, CAPA and continuous improvement, train staff, and participate in audits and inspections as the QA SME.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science or related field.
• Extensive experience in the GMP-regulated pharmaceutical industry including continuous improvement within QA area.
• Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, great understanding and knowledge in Deviations, CAPA and Change Request management including related activities.
• Experience with health authorities (Swissmedic, FDA) is desired.
• Fluency in English is required; German would be an asset.

Responsabilités

• QA Bioconjugates activities and oversight with direct contact to Operations Team, MSAT, QA/QC & Project Management teams.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, drive deviation management & continuous improvement.
• Review and approve quality records, SOPs, Deviations, Change Requests, and Effectiveness Checks.
• Identify emerging QA topics and develop them into new or established Quality and Compliance standards.
• Train and coach new employees and existing QA Specialists.
• Act as QA SME in meetings with stakeholders and during audits and inspections.
