Job summary

Lonza in Visp, Switzerland is seeking a Project Leader for Quality Control Bioconjugates. PhD graduates and experienced professionals are welcome.

The role involves coordinating with manufacturing, QA, and external customers to ensure GMP compliance and project success. With relocation assistance available, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage production campaigns, and support customer audits while driving QC cost efficiency in projects.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnological GMP environments and in Quality Control is a plus.
• Proficient use of MS Office; knowledge of Documentum, LIMS, Trackwise is advantageous.
• English required; basic German (B1) and willingness to improve with courses)

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Preparing and supporting production campaigns.
• Processing change requests and deviations under GMP.
• Supporting customer audits and inspections by authorities.
• Calculating and monitoring QC costs in the project.
• Independent coordination, prioritization and scheduling of tasks.
