Senior Python Developer - Contract Role (Start ASAP)

Geneva | Contract | Immediate Start

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join a global digital transformation leader. This is a contract position with an immediate start, focused on building scalable, event-driven serverless solutions in the cloud.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable software using Python
• Design and deploy serverless applications (AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS)
• Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines using Python
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform or other IaC tools
• Collaborate with platform teams to define and own service components

Your Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Python development
• Strong expertise in AWS (GCP or Azure a plus)
• Proven experience with serverless architectures
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD
• Strong focus on clean code, scalability, and automation

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana
• Certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
