PartnerRe is seeking a Senior Direct & Facultative Underwriter to join our Property & Downstream underwriting team, based in Zurich or London. You will lead direct and facultative underwriting, engage brokers, and drive portfolio growth while collaborating with global partners.

Qualifikationen

• At least 7 years of direct and facultative underwriting experience.
• Strong expertise in corporate downstream and/or property insurance and facultative reinsurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance coverage structures and policy specifics.
• Solid grasp of actuarial pricing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Drive acquisition and growth of profitable direct & facultative portfolio across designated lines of business and markets.
• Analyze submissions with technical risk assessments, pricing evaluations, catastrophe exposure reviews, and document details.
• Engage with global brokers and insured clients to foster strong relationships.
• Lead negotiations on terms with international brokers to secure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including accounting, claims, wording specialists, catastrophe modelling, legal, and treaty underwriting teams.
• Manage administrative underwriting tasks and ensure data quality.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to support strategic decision-making.
