We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Project Manager / Senior Projektleiter:in to join our high-impact data center projects in Zurich, Switzerland. The project manager is responsible for the overall success of the project and is directly accountable to the following role overview.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the planning and execution of data center construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Coordinate and engage with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with industry and client standards
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns
Lead cost control and financial oversight , ensuring commercial success through budget tracking, contract management, and value engineering
Resolve complex project challenges , including design changes, scope adjustments, and stakeholder concerns, maintaining efficiency and project momentum
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, mentoring project teams and promoting continuous improvement in project delivery
Role Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering, or a related field
Field Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data center construction. Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements. As well as comprehensive knowledge of project cost accounting, budgeting, and contracting requirements
Language: Fluency in German and English, oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, clients, and project teams
Workstyle: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills , with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders in a highly regulated industry
