Job description

Your impact

You will lead, coach, and develop a team of two marketers, providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and supporting their professional growth.

Reporting to the Marketing Director DACH, you will combine people leadership with strategic brand management to drive the growth of key brands across the region.

Together with your team and colleagues in Sales, Medical, and Global functions, you will translate customer and market insights into focused commercial plans.

You will strengthen omnichannel engagement with healthcare professionals and equip field teams with the tools and support they need to deliver results.

With a hands‑on approach and a willingness to challenge established ways of working, you will turn ideas into action and guide your team towards measurable commercial outcomes.

The position is based in Martinsried near Munich, Germany, with hybrid working possible and approximately 20% travel across DACH.

Experience engaging healthcare professionals and marketing prescription medicines (Rx) is essential. Vaccine experience is an advantage but is not required.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop your team, setting clear priorities and supporting collaboration across the wider DACH organization
  • Shape and execute brand strategies and tactical plans, defining KPIs and using performance insights to optimize results
  • Translate market, healthcare professional, and insights into action, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and drive growth
  • Lead strategic brand initiatives, working closely with Sales, Medical, and Global teams to ensure effective local execution
  • Advance omnichannel marketing, creating relevant, coordinated engagement across touchpoints
  • Manage marketing budgets and coordinate with supply stakeholders
Your profile

You bring strong commercial experience in pharmaceuticals with a clear understanding of how to engage healthcare professionals.

You combine strategic thinking with practical execution and are comfortable adapting priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • A relevant academic background in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, and fluency in German and English
  • At least eight years of commercial experience including experience in pharma product or brand management for prescription medicines (Rx)
  • Strong knowledge of the German healthcare system; familiarity with Austria and/or Switzerland is an advantage
  • A proven ability to partner with Sales and translate brand strategy into effective field activities
  • Strong omnichannel marketing and project management skills, supported by an analytical approach to decision-making
  • The ability to guide and develop others; previous direct people management experience is a plus

A background in vaccines is welcome, but not essential. We value the commercial expertise, customer understanding, and transferable experience you bring from other pharmaceutical or healthcare businesses.

You bring a pioneering mindset, with the curiosity to explore new opportunities and the drive to build, test, and refine new approaches.

You confidently challenge established ways of working and combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to turn ideas into results.

You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and enjoy collaborating across functions. In a fast‑paced matrix environment, you take ownership and adapt to changing priorities with a pragmatic, agile approach.
