Job summary

Johnson & Johnson (DePuy Synthes) is seeking a Sr. Manager, Process Engineering. This Hybrid role is based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with alternate locations including Diegem, Belgium or Zuchwil, Switzerland.

You will lead a team to design, optimize, and sustain robust manufacturing processes in a regulated medical device environment. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, enabling new product introductions, and ensuring quality, safety, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical or related).
• 8+ years of progressive process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams in a regulated setting.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of process engineers for design, optimization, and sustainment.
• Set and execute process engineering strategies aligned with quality and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and Operations on production performance.
• Provide oversight for process validations, equipment qualifications, and change management.
• Ensure processes comply with regulatory, quality systems, and company requirements.
• Analyze performance data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support capital projects and automation upgrades to boost capability.
