FMC Agricultural Solutions is hiring a Process Engineering Manager for its Schaffhausen AI Tech Center. You will lead process development, scale-up, and technology transfer across R&D interfaces, driving safe, robust and cost-effective manufacturing technologies for a global network.

You will manage a team of engineers, shape the innovation portfolio, and oversee NPIs from early development to commercialization, ensuring high safety and sustainable performance at scale.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline; PhD an advantage.
• 10+ years of industrial experience in agrochemicals/pharma/fine/specialty chemicals with expertise in process development, scale-up and commercial manufacturing.
• Proven line-management experience including performance management, coaching and resource planning.
• Strong track record in NPI, technology transfer, process scale-up and significant process innovations.
• Solid knowledge of chemical engineering, process design, process safety, techno-economic assessment and manufacturing optimization.
• Experience with process safety management and risk assessment methodologies (PHAs, HAZOP, LOPA).
• Experience with process simulation and engineering design tools; Aspen and AutoCAD preferred.
• Ability to lead senior technical specialists, challenge solutions, and prioritize projects.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and global collaboration skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Process Engineering team, managing performance, resources, priorities and succession planning.
• Define and prioritize an engineering innovation portfolio aligned with NPI and process roadmaps.
• Lead engineering activities from early-stage development through pilot validation, scale-up and industrialization.
• Ensure readiness and technical delivery for NPI and technology transfer of established products.
• Drive innovations in capacity, yield, safety, robustness, sustainability and cost competitiveness.
• Oversee conceptual engineering and basic design for capital projects enabling NPIs and innovations.
• Promote engineering standards and process safety practices (PSM, PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
• Provide technical direction and cross-functional collaboration, enabling knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Working closely with R&D, Process Chemistry, and global technical teams, you will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive step-change innovations for established products throughout their commercial lifecycle.
