Electra is seeking a Senior/Principal Airframe Design Engineer in Olten, Switzerland, to lead the design and integration of primary and secondary aircraft structures for the EL9 hybrid-electric aircraft. You will drive structural design from concept through certification, coordinating with aerodynamics, propulsion, stress, manufacturing, and certification teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in aircraft structural design and system integration.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (NX/CATIA) and familiarity with certification requirements.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and development of primary and secondary aircraft structures (fuselage, wing, empennage, landing gear).
• Own structural activities from concept to production readiness and certification.
• Define structural requirements and material selections to meet airworthiness.
• Produce CAD models, drawings, ICDs, and design reports; ensure configuration control.
