A leading actuarial firm in Zurich is seeking an experienced Actuarial Pricing Specialist. The role involves actuarial pricing for various markets, including Marine & Energy and Engineering, as well as collaboration with underwriting teams. Ideal candidates will have a university degree, actuarial qualifications, and over five years' experience in non-life treaty pricing. Strong knowledge of Excel and programming languages is essential.

Qualifikationen

Key Duties (Including but not limited to) :

• Actuarial Pricing for a variety of markets and lines – your focus will be on the lines Marine & Energy, Engineering, Credit & Surety and Affinity
• Development, enhancement and documentation of pricing parameters, models, processes and databases
• Close collaboration with Underwriting and Risk Management
• Actuarial analyses and studies to support strategic underwriting decisions

Qualifications required :

• University degree in a scientific / numerate discipline and – ideally completed – actuarial qualification (SAV, IFoA, CAS etc.)
• Language skills : very good command of English, additional languages and especially German would be a plus

Experience required :

• Minimum five years of experience in non-life treaty pricing with focus on specialty lines like Marine & Energy, Engineering, Credit & Surety or Affinity; experience with CAT pricing or modelling is a plus
• Experience in searching and selecting relevant data for the calibration of exposure curves or the assessment of certain sublines or special cover features
• Strong knowledge of Excel and programming languages (e.g. VBA, R, Python) is indispensable; ideally experience in designing of databases
