Job summary
avacone Switzerland seeks an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to manage and improve Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online, alongside core Microsoft 365 services. You will govern, secure, and operate the platform, work with developers and stakeholders, and support migration of legacy solutions.
You will also drive automation, establish standards, and maintain clear documentation to ensure reliable services and an efficient operating model in a multicultural Basel environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for Power Platform, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Exchange Online.
- Establish and maintain Power Platform governance through the Centre of Excellence.
- Define target operating model with roles, processes, controls, and support arrangements.
- Lead platform security design including IAM, data protection, and DLP with BIS standards.
- Collaborate with developers to establish engineering standards and promote best practices.
- Plan and deliver SharePoint site migrations to SharePoint Online and migrate legacy workflows to Power Automate.
- Coach developers and business users on reusable components and maintainable designs.
- Drive automation and continuous service improvement with clear technical designs and procedures.
