Jobtailor is recruiting for a senior policy research role focused on trade and sustainable development. The successful candidate will lead research, organize events, and contribute to funding proposals, while coordinating with partners and government missions in Geneva.

Strong English fluency is required, with French/Spanish skills considered an asset. A post-graduate degree and at least five years in a policy research environment are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Post-graduate degree in public policy, economics, law, politics, international relations, or development economics.
• Track record of high-quality research and analysis for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage time and inputs to deliver research projects on time and within budget.
• At least 5 years in a policy research environment.
• Knowledge of trade policy issues.
• Experience with government or government-facing policy support/advocacy (desirable).
• Fluency in English; ability to work/write in French and/or Spanish (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Lead primary and secondary research on trade and sustainable development policy issues and write reports.
• Organize meetings, webinars, and events, including developing concepts and briefing speakers.
• Ensure information is collected for monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting.
• Support fundraising through proposals and funder reporting materials.
• Build and maintain networks with partners, including government missions to the WTO in Geneva.
• Collaborate with communications to develop outreach materials.
• Represent projects at conferences, forums, and public events.
• Manage consultants and lead working groups as needed.
• Stay up to date on emerging program issues.
