Ligentec in Ecublens/Lausanne, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Process Engineer to own, develop, and qualify core unit processes for a silicon nitride platform. You will lead cross‑functional projects, ensure processes stay within spec, and drive yield improvements in a high‑volume environment.

You will work in a 100% on‑site role with strong collaboration across local and remote teams. English is the working language, French is a plus; start date is as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• University or HES degree in Materials Science, Microengineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Several years of experience leading semiconductor/photonic process engineering projects.
• Deep expertise in unit process development, SPC, DoE, metrology and failure analysis.
• Hands-on cleanroom experience and strong process documentation habits.
• English working proficiency; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, qualify, and document unit processes across lithography, thin film deposition, etching, and back-end processing.
• Lead end-to-end engineering projects with technical direction to teams.
• Maintain process specs, set control limits (SPC), design experiments (DoE), and interpret capability data.
• Investigate excursions to root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Transfer developed unit processes to volume production and support ramp-up.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the QMS.
