Job summary

LIGENTEC in Ecublens, Switzerland, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to own, develop and qualify core unit processes for our silicon nitride platform. You will lead complex projects, drive process capabilities, and ensure strict adherence to specs in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires collaboration across local and remote teams, with an emphasis on yield improvement, production transfer, and continuous quality enhancements. English is the working language; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in materials science, microengineering, physics or chemistry.
• Experience leading semiconductor/photonic process projects.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DoE, metrology and failure analysis.
• Cleanroom discipline and rigorous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify and document unit processes across lithography, deposition, etching and backend.
• Lead end-to-end engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain process specs, control limits, and DOE to optimize yield.
• Investigate excursions and implement corrective actions through change management.
• Transfer processes to volume production and support ramp-up.
• Drive quality improvements within the QMS.
