Zusammenfassung

Fortil in Switzerland seeks a Senior Project Cost Engineer (M/F) to join its Life Sciences team in Visp. You will lead cost control for major pharmaceutical CAPEX projects, delivering accurate budgets, forecasts and cost reports across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Requirements include 10+ years in project cost engineering on large CAPEX projects, experience in EPCM, proficiency with SAP/Ariba or Oracle Primavera Unifier, and excellent English; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Cost Engineer / Cost Controller on major CAPEX projects.
• Strong experience on large pharmaceutical projects above CHF 250 million.
• Proven experience in an EPCM environment.
• Client-side pharma experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of cost control across Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
• Experience with Budget, Commitments, Accruals, ETC, EAC, Forecasting and Cost Reporting.

Aufgaben

• Support development of project cost estimates and transition to Control Budget.
• Establish and maintain project cost-management processes and interfaces.
• Prepare accurate cost reports and forecasts for Project Leadership.
• Monitor Budget, Commitments, VOWD, Accruals, FX, ETC, EAC, Cost phasing.
• Identify cost overruns and opportunities with forward-looking analysis.
• Review cost information from Engineering Partners and contractors.
• Ensure contractor cost-control methodologies align with project requirements.
• Support Payment processes, material trending, productivity analysis and change logs.
• Support Change, Risk & Opportunity Management and contingency drawdown.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance and suppliers.
• Assist project close-out, commercial close-out, asset activation, benchmarking.
