Job summary

First Derivative is seeking a Murex Support Engineer with strong Market Risk knowledge to join our Switzerland team. You will provide hands-on L2/L3 functional and production support for Murex MX.3 Market Risk, diagnosing and resolving complex risk issues and implementing configuration changes.

You will collaborate with business users, the Murex center of excellence, and vendor support, maintaining SLA adherence and contributing to runbooks and knowledge articles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Murex MX.3 experience with Market Risk functional and production support.
• Strong knowledge of Market Risk, including VaR, sensitivities, P&L and risk reporting.
• Experience with incident/change management processes (ITIL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 on-call support for Murex Market Risk intraday and end-of-day runs.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting risk calculations, data inputs and reporting outputs.
• Investigate discrepancies across trade data, market data, valuation and risk calculations.
• Implement approved Murex Market Risk configuration changes and validate across environments.
• Maintain environment health, including batch monitoring and data loads.
• Support regression testing ahead of releases and upgrades.
