Job summary

First Derivative seeks a Murex Front Office Support Lead in Switzerland to own day-to-day operation and production support of Murex MX.3, ensuring trade capture, valuation, risk and market data processes run reliably through the trading day and end-of-day cycle.

You will act as the escalation point for complex Front Office issues and own the front-office support queue end to end, monitor processes, triage incidents, coordinate L2/L3 with the platform run team and vendor, and drive permanent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience in production.
• Strong Front Office knowledge across trade capture, valuation, market data, P&L and risk processes.
• Unix/Linux environments and batch job monitoring.
• ITIL or equivalent incident/change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Murex Front Office processes including trade capture, valuation, market data, risk, and end-of-day processing.
• Act as escalation point for traders, risk managers and middle office on system issues and data questions.
• Own the front-office support queue end to end; coordinate L2/L3 with platform run team and vendor.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes with development and vendor teams.
• Support end-of-day, month-end, and market close processes; maintain runbooks and on-call procedures.
• Assist with platform upgrades, patches, and vendor releases; test and validate readiness.

Here at First Derivative we are looking to expand our Murex offerings in Switzerland and we are looking for a Murex Front Office Support Lead to join us! You will own the day-to-day operation and production support of Murex MX.3, making sure trade capture, valuation, risk and market data processes run reliably through the trading day and end-of-day cycle.
