Job summary

First Derivative is seeking a Murex Support Engineer in Switzerland with strong Market Risk knowledge to join our team. You will provide L2/L3 functional and production support for Murex MX.3 Market Risk, diagnose issues, implement configuration changes, and ensure risk processes run reliably.

Collaborate with business users and IT teams, handle on-call duties for intraday and end-of-day risk, and contribute to the CoE and vendor support. 7+ years MX.3 experience and ITIL familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience with Market Risk focus.
• Strong knowledge of risk calculations, VaR, P&L and reporting.
• Experience in incident/problem/change management and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 on-call support for Murex Market Risk, incl. intraday and end-of-day risk runs.
• Diagnose incidents affecting risk calculations, data inputs and reporting outputs.
• Implement approved Murex MR configuration changes and validate across environments.
• Collaborate with Center of Excellence and vendor support on escalated issues.
