Job summary

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering skills with production-quality code in a team.
• Excellent programming in Python, C++, CUDA.
• Background in algorithm development and numerical methods.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks is a plus.
• Background in medical imaging, computer vision, image registration, tracking, or computational modeling is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset, scientific curiosity, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain algorithms for tissue tracking, patient positioning, and motion estimation in radiotherapy.
• Design and evaluate conventional and AI-based methods for medical image analysis and tracking.
• Optimize algorithms for clinical deployment using C++, CUDA, C# and Python.
• Create realistic simulation of synthetic ground-truth data for quantitative algorithm validation.
• Contribute to a shared codebase through code reviews, pull requests, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative algorithms into clinical products.
