Siemens Healthineers in Switzerland is seeking a talented software engineer and scientist to join a team developing next-generation radiotherapy imaging products. You will work on algorithms for motion tracking and tissue localization to improve treatment accuracy.

The role emphasizes production-quality code, collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, and modern software practices such as Git, CI/CD, and code reviews.

Formación

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering skills and production-quality code experience.
• Excellent programming in Python, C++, and CUDA.
• Background in medical imaging, computer vision, or tracking is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Create realistic simulation of synthetic ground-truth data for quantitative algorithm validation.
• Contribute to a shared codebase through code reviews, pull requests, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative algorithms into clinical products.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering skills and experience developing production-quality code in a team environment.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, and CUDA.
• Strong background in algorithm development and numerical methods.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks is a plus.
• Background in medical imaging, computer vision, image registration, tracking, or computational modeling is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset, scientific curiosity, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
