Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical systems packages and manage site operations, project delivery, costs, quality and safety at projects around Zurich, Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and/or degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally in mechanical/construction projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate large-scale installation projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, schedules and budgets.
• Strong health and safety knowledge in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical systems packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate installation activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering consultants and client representatives to meet objectives.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are followed.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and document actions and outstanding issues.
• Monitor schedules, track progress and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Control package-related costs including labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate material deliveries and track potential delays.
• Prepare weekly progress reports highlighting risks and delays.
• Maintain records of labour hours and site progress.
• Attend site and engineering reviews and handover meetings.
• Incorporate company policies into supply chain contracts with subs and suppliers.
• Oversee close-out activities including final accounts and manuals.
