Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions Inc. seeks a seasoned Mechanical Construction Manager to steer mechanical construction activities on complex projects, coordinating site teams and ensuring safety, budgets and timelines are met.

You will oversee design consultants and subcontractors, craft plans and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver milestones on high-profile data centre, life sciences and semiconductor projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the full design and construction process.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources and control schedules.
• Trade background or relevant third-level qualification in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
• Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee design consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution.
• Manage site design and construction processes, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource allocations, including labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Lead and coordinate large multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates on construction progress.
• Develop practical solutions, cost projections and project delivery strategies.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and support handover of completed projects.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
