Bilfinger UK seeks a Lead/Principal Engineer to lead mechanical and piping design across EPCM/EPC projects in multiple industries, from concept to execution. You will mentor engineers, ensure quality, and maintain compliance with UK standards while delivering within time and budget constraints.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (BEng/MEng), Chartered status (preferred), and experience in ASME/BS EN, PED/ PESR; knowledge of Plant3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/MEng) is required.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IMechE or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as Lead/Principal Engineer on multi-discipline projects preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
• Deliver mechanical and piping engineering within EPCM/EPC scope from concept to execution.
• Ensure designs comply with UK regulations and standards (ASME, BS EN, PED/ PESR).
• Check and approve design deliverables via competent persons.
• Provide input into change events and estimates.
• Lead internal and external design reviews.
