Job summary

Flux Mobility AG was founded in April 2021 and develops high-quality light commercial vehicles with innovative, emission-free drivetrain technologies. Our vehicles are built on a flexible platform concept enabling diesel replacement on a one-to-one basis, driving sustainable industrial mobility in Winterthur.

The Mechanical Engineer will own the mechanical development of the electric powertrain for our light commercial vehicles, from concept to verification, and work closely with design,

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
• At least 5 years in mechanical design.
• Experience with drivetrain components and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of the electric powertrain for light commercial vehicles.
• Size gearboxes, shafts, housings and interfaces.
• Perform strength, durability and thermal calculations.
• Translate architecture into manufacturable components with the design team.
• Lead verification and validation with external partners.
• Collaborate with purchasing, electrical and software teams.
