Our breakthrough technologies enable development and production of revolutionary devices in fields such as AR, telecommunications and biological sensors. We work with global technology leaders in developing new solutions for future near-eye displays, smartphones, flat panel displays, lasers and similar devices.

In this position, you will join the Research & Development (R&D) department of Eulitha, a leading innovator in lithographic equipment solutions as a Senior Mechanical Engineer – R&D. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the mechanical development of our cutting-edge lithographic equipment products, contributing to the advancement of technology for our diverse customer segments.

This position reports to the Head of R&D and is located in Würenlos, Switzerland.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop precision mechanical components and systems for lithographic equipment in close collaboration with other R&D and production teams
  • Contribute to the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to production and testing, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and scientists to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in design processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute complex engineering projects within specified timelines and budgets
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of developed products, such as tolerance analysis to ensure high precision requirements
Profile
  • M.Eng. or equivalent in a related engineering field
  • At least five to ten years’ experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on the design and development of precision equipment, preferably for semiconductor processing
  • Good knowledge of technical drawings, ability to use technical drawing software at a basic level
  • Ability to use simulation software for evaluating mechanical performance of parts and systems
  • Outstanding grasp of technology and analytical skills; proven hands-on technical problem solving skills
  • Experience with cleanroom protocols is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and adaptability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
