Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a Geneva-based, owner-side role on a major global data centre capital programme.

You will develop and oversee the commissioning across HVAC and mechanical systems, execute FAT/SAT, IST, and ensure documentation is thorough for handover. This is a high-contact, fast-moving project with stringent standards.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical commissioning experience within data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale MEP environments.
• Direct experience executing and witnessing FAT/SAT and participating in IST programmes for critical mechanical infrastructure.
• Strong technical knowledge across chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH, cooling towers, pressurisation, HVAC, and associated mechanical plant.
• Methodical approach to documentation — test scripts, punch lists, non-conformance reports, and handover packages.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain the mechanical commissioning programme — producing method statements, test scripts, and pre-commissioning checklists across HVAC, cooling, plumbing, and associated mechanical systems.
• Execute functional and performance testing across critical mechanical building services, including chilled water systems and pumping systems.
• Coordinate and participate in IST from a mechanical perspective — validating interactions with electrical and BMS infrastructure.
• Witness and sign off FATs and lead SATs on installation; maintain detailed test records and track non-conformances.
• Own the punch list process from Walk-down to close-out and compile the full commissioning documentation package for handover.
