ABOUT THE ROLE

PolyPeptide is on an exciting growth journey, and we are looking for a Senior/Manager Corporate Communications to define, create, implement, and ensure adherence to the external and internal corporate communications strategy for the group, across all our sites.

  • Management of external corporate communications across various media channels—communication plan, creation of content, execution/distribution (e.g., corporate news, LinkedIn feed). Contact of the group for media relations (excluding Investor Relations).
  • Management of highly positive and engaging internal communication with co-workers—communication plan, creation of content, execution/distribution (e.g., internal news, intranet content, townhall meetings, management presentations).
  • Management and coordination of reporting required for the SIX listed company (annual report, half-year report), in close collaboration with internal stakeholders. Preparation of reports, results presentations, corporate news, and management of their distribution.
  • Ownership of the company homepage and intranet platform.
  • Ownership of the corporate brand—guidelines, templates, tools. Monitor and support application of brand guidelines. Ownership of communication guidelines and governance, securing adherence via updates and trainings.
  • Coordination of the internal communicators’ community to ensure coordinated, group-wide communication planning and execution.
  • Cost-efficient sourcing and result-oriented coordination of external providers.
  • Support to key management members in content and campaign preparation, e.g., presentations, speeches, videos, news. Support to CEO in communication preparation. Management of crisis communication.

YOUR PROFILE

To excel in this broad and influential role, you are an experienced international communications professional with a highly engaging, collaborative, and communicative working style, ready to drive the communications agenda forward with personal energy and focus.

  • University degree in Corporate Communications, Business Communications, Media Relations, Business Administration, or similar with 8+ years of experience in corporate communications within sizable international corporations with a B-to-B business model, on a corporate/global/international level.
  • Experience in listed companies is essential (preferably Swiss listed / SIX).
  • Exposure to healthcare / life science industry is a plus.
  • Experience in in-house communications roles and in a communications agency is advantageous.
  • Profound experience in defining and executing internal and external communication plans. Skilled in content creation (text, visual, video) for various media and channels. Familiar with media trends, planning, and success measurement via KPIs.
  • In-depth experience with annual/half-year/quarterly report management for listed companies. Knowledge of non-financial reporting and ESG trends.
  • Strong attention to detail, a hands-on mentality, independence, ownership, and ability to work under pressure. Customer-focused, flexible, solution-oriented, and a role model for company values of innovation, excellence, and trust.
  • Knowledge of relevant IT systems and media tools, including webpage, intranet, and social media management tools (e.g., LinkedIn). Familiar with technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate cross-functionally and across geographies, and interact with stakeholders at various levels. Ability to work internationally, respecting cultural differences, and willing to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in business English (professional writing); German and French are a plus.
