Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, CHAT Corporate Affairs to lead end‑to‑end communications for Switzerland and Austria, shaping strategy and delivering integrated plans across external and internal channels.

You will collaborate with Drug Development, GPS, Medical, Commercial and Market Access teams to drive brand, disease awareness and corporate reputation, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in brand, commercial, or corporate communications, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong network of contacts across the sub-region.
• Proven track record of delivering high impact integrated, multi-channel communications programs in a regulated environment.
• Good understanding of the political environment in the region and ability to interpret how the external changes can impact BMS and its reputation.
• Strategic thinking and strong digital, writing, content creation and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience in working for large global organization, and strong ability to collaborate across the matrix with access, regulatory, medical and legal teams.
• Excellent ability to partner with business stakeholders, experience in working with senior executives.
• Fluent in English and German, additional language of the sub-region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute integrated, end-to-end Corporate Affairs plans for Switzerland & Austria from strategy to measurement.
• Translate CA strategy into concrete plans, content and tactics across channels.
• Ensure alignment with global frameworks, compliance standards and approval processes.
• Manage agencies and external partners for assigned projects, ensuring quality, timelines and budget adherence.
• Track, evaluate and report on activities using KPIs and metrics.
• Develop and execute external communications activities including media relations and digital content.
• Support issues and crisis management through monitoring and response strategies.
• Drive patient advocacy and stakeholder engagement with relevant patient organizations.
• Execute internal communications and employee engagement initiatives aligned with priorities.
