Gi LIFE SCIENCE : Specialized division of Gi Group, is dedicated to the Life Science sector recruitment (Pharmaceutical / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Cosmetics & Medical Devices). Gi Life Science focuses specifically on connecting life science companies with top, skilled talent to fill roles in addressing challenges industries in this field are facing.

Our Swiss Gi Life Science organization, with our 25 specialized Consultants, is already a market leader in the staffing for Life Science industries in the French and German speaking parts of Switzerland (talent Centers Geneva; Zurich, Basel).

We are now expanding our Search & Selection and HR solutions to the life science companies based in the Italian speaking parts of Switzerland and opening a new talent Center at Mendriso (Ticino).

To support the development of our Life Science talent center Mendriso, we are looking for a :

SENIOR LIFE SCIENCE CONSULTANT

This consultant will report to the Director Life Science Switzerland and will be actively supported by the existing teams and managers we have at Mendriso (Gi Group & Grafton) as well as our Gi Life Science talent centers Geneva, Basel & Zurich.

The consultant will be strongly involved in the commercial development of our Life Science division for the Ticino Market, and will be proactive in developing contacts within the Pharma / Biotech / Chemicals / Med Tech / Cosmetic companies in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland.

In this role, the consultant will be responsible for all stages of the recruitment life cycle (Permanent & Temporary positions) :

1. Definition of needs with our partners (HR and managers)
2. Active sourcing in collaboration with 1- Our Gi Life Science talent centers at Zurich / Basel / Geneva and 2- our Mendrisio Teams (Grafton & Gi Group)
3. Selection and presentation of candidates

Monitoring of the recruitment process through to the closing of positions.

Your profile :

• University degree (science Background a plus but not mandatory)
• Good knowledge of the Life Science sector in Ticino Area
• Experience in the staffing Industry (preferably in the Italian Speaking part of Switzerland)
• A keen sense of sales approaches, customer service and a strong team spirit.
• Ease of contact, Fluent in Italian, good level of English is mandatory.
