Michael Page (Switzerland) seeks a qualified lawyer to lead drafting, review and negotiation of clinical research agreements for a Geneva-based, hybrid role. The successful candidate will support international clinical studies, manage CTAs and CRO agreements, and provide practical legal guidance across Europe and beyond.

Required is 5-8 years PQE, fluency in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated pharma environment with regular Geneva office presence.

Formación

• Qualified lawyer admitted in any recognised jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5-8 years' post-qualification experience, with substantial experience gained within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or life sciences sectors.
• Proven expertise supporting clinical studies and clinical research activities.
• Strong experience negotiating and managing: Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), CRO Agreements, Research-related agreements, Data Protection and Privacy Agreements.
• Demonstrated experience working on multi-jurisdictional matters within an international environment.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of complex legal matters with limited supervision.
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent contract drafting, review and negotiation capabilities.
• Fluent English is required; additional European languages would be advantageous.
• Ability to be present in the Geneva office on a regular basis and work effectively within a hybrid model.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of a broad range of clinical research agreements.
• Negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) with research institutions, hospitals and external partners.
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements and amendments with Contract Research Organisations (CROs).
• Support the legal implementation of international clinical studies programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review and negotiate data processing, privacy and data protection agreements related to clinical research activities.
• Provide practical legal advice to clinical operations, business and project stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks while facilitating study timelines and operational objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution.
• Manage a high volume of clinical research contracts in a fast-paced international environment.
• Support ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
