Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its European Legal team in Zurich. You will work closely with senior leaders and consultants on engagement-related matters, reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients and third parties, and advising on risk and compliance.

The role requires a Swiss law degree, Bar qualification, 5+ years of experience (including law firm), and fluent German and English (French a plus).

Qualifications

• Swiss law degree and Bar qualification required.
• 5+ years of professional experience including law firm experience.
• Fluent in German and English; French a plus.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills; Swiss employment law experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on engagement-related legal matters and risk throughout the engagement life cycle.
• Review and negotiate contractual arrangements with clients and third parties.
• Advise internal stakeholders on risk, compliance, and procedures; liaise with Swiss authorities and external partners.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and worldwide to protect the firm’s interests.
