Job summary

L’OCCITANE Group in Geneva is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice and support across manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, sponsorship, lease, corporate, IP and data protection.

You will draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, advise sales, marketing and e‑commerce teams, and help ensure compliance with consumer and competition law while managing pre‑litigation and litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business or economic law.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in corporate environments and B2C.
• Fluent in English and French with strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, review, comment on and draft a wide range of legal and commercial documents (including manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, partnership, etc.)
• Support the development and management of distribution networks (selective distribution, exclusive distribution, franchising, distributors)
• Advise operational teams, in particular the sales, marketing and e-commerce teams
• Ensure that commercial practices comply with consumer and competition law
• Help to prevent and manage pre-litigation and litigation matters
