COFCO International in Geneva seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to manage banking, finance and commercial matters for the global group, aligned with our hybrid working model. You will negotiate with financial institutions, advise on strategic M&A, and supervise regional projects, while guiding external counsel and ensuring practical, business-focused legal solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bar admission.
• 8+ years in multinational law firms or in multinational legal departments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
• Demonstrable experience in banking law, M&A and commercial law.
• Experience with working in an international environment and the language, cultural, and legal complications posed by it.
• Strong aptitude for processing information, making effective judgements, and formulating defensible legal positions on novel issues.
• Proactive, drives processes and tasks to achieve results.
• Willingness to broaden practice areas and participate in more varied workload from time to time.
• Ability to get information from people without direct supervision.
• Comfortable working in a team or alone and managing legal matters with/without guidance, as required.
