Responsibilities

• Set PMO global standards for processes and procedures to ensure projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive tracking and reporting structure for projects.

• Manage project managers to ensure milestones are met and global standards are achieved.
• Oversee PM resource management and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple teams and with third-party vendors.
• Organise and host PMO workshops and debrief sessions to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure PCI DSS standards are reflected in planning and delivery of retail projects.

About the Role

The Senior Lead PMO will join the Retail and Workplace Technology team, reporting directly to the Head of Retail and Workplace Technology. The role is pivotal in creating and implementing global PMO standards and operational delivery procedures. It focuses on the overall management of the project portfolio and tracking both progress and quality of delivery. The team holds global responsibility for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure and technology across all physical locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set PMO global standards for processes and procedures to ensure projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive tracking and reporting structure for projects.
• Create and manage the intake of new projects, and drive project portfolio and budget management.
• Manage project managers to ensure milestones are met and global standards are achieved.
• Oversee PM resource management and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple teams, including Construction, Real Estate, Facility Management, Design, Finance, Commercial and more.
• Collaborate closely with third-party vendors to ensure expected service levels and foster strong, sustainable partnerships.
• Organise and host PMO dedicated workshops to align project delivery method, train the team on processes, procedures and global standards.
• Organise and host comprehensive debrief sessions to extract insights and lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Ensure PCI DSS standards are met in retail stores and reflected in the planning phases of each retail project.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing a PMO.
• 8+ years of experience in Technology Project Management.
• Proven track record in global, cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Good working knowledge of network deployment.
• Experience in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with third-party vendors.
• PMP certified (or similar).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Real Estate construction is a plus.
• Experience in expansion and space programming is a plus.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Experience with PCI DSS standards is a plus.
