Menhir Photonics AG in Stettbach near Zurich seeks a Senior Project Engineer to drive advanced laser projects, combining about 60% technical project and program management with 40% hands-on R&D and laser engineering. You will structure, coordinate, and execute complex development programs with internal teams and external partners.
The ideal candidate has a strong physics or photonics background, extensive experience in laser development and ultrafast optics, English fluency and German
Formación
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Master's degree or PhD required.
- Fluent English and German proficiency required.
Responsabilidades
- Plan, structure, coordinate, and execute strategic technical projects and programs, including internal development and customer projects.
- Define work packages, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and reporting mechanisms; translate objectives into actionable engineering tasks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary work across R&D, laser and optical engineering, mechanical/electronics engineering, product development, and manufacturing.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and support mitigation plans to maintain momentum.
- Coordinate discussions and align with customers, industrial partners, suppliers, and collaborators.
- Contribute to advanced laser systems and ultrafast laser concepts; apply expertise in nonlinear optics and frequency conversion.
