Senior IT Solution Architect – Finance Systems & Processes

Your tasks

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of finance IT architecture with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and related systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders in Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Financial Services, Non-financial Reporting, and Travel Management from an architectural perspective
• Ensure sustainable, efficient architecture aligned with enterprise guidelines, including maintaining technical documentation and coordinating with fellow architects
• Develop comprehensive solution concepts, gather requirements, and translate them into system and program specifications
• Independently customize SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules to meet evolving business needs
• Manage and oversee development efforts by internal teams and external partners, including conducting quality assurance and testing
• Support global rollouts of process and system standards, including delivering user training sessions
• Provide expert-level system support (third-level) for users worldwide, ensuring high-quality service and issue resolution

Your profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role within finance IT architecture
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FI/CO environments; knowledge of other financial applications is an advantage
• Practical ABAP programming skills
• Solid understanding of finance-related business processes and workflows
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus
