wega Informatik AG in Basel, Switzerland, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex Pharma and Life Sciences Informatics projects. You will drive project outcomes, coach cross-functional teams, and manage data readiness to enable AI training and deployment.

Strong stakeholder engagement and budget control are essential. The role requires 6+ years in project management, familiarity with Agile (Scrum/SAFe), and fluency in English and French.

Formación

• >6 years of experience in Project Management of complex technical projects.
• Industry experience in Pharma and Life Sciences Informatics domain is a must.
• Degree in Chemistry, Bioinformatics, etc. or equivalent work experience.
• Experienced with Agile Methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe).

Your Area of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the project outcome and success by achieving the defined project objectives and meeting customer’s expectations
• Coach and guide team members of the project
• Manage AI data readiness: oversee the data engineering and curation strategies required to build high quality, compliant datasets for AI training/deployment
• Responsible to manage the scope, quality, budget and schedule of the project
• Lead the project in terms of activities, planning and costs tracking
• Identify, anticipate risks and suggest options of mitigation in order to build and maintain a strong positive working relationship with project stakeholders
• Facilitate project execution with stakeholders
• Define and implement the appropriate & comprehensive approach for Change Management including a stakeholder impact analysis
• Accountable for the delivery of the expected project documentation
• Actively build commitment as well as motivate and lead the team to project success

Your Qualification and Experience:

• >6 years of experience in Project Management of complex technical projects
• Industry experience in the Pharma and Life Sciences Informatics domain is a must
• Degree in Chemistry, Bioinformatics, etc. or an equivalent work experience
• Worked with Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe)

• Familiarity with Pharma AI Frameworks
• Sound organisational skills with an ability to produce quality work and achieve project deadlines within budget
• Experience in leading virtual teams
• Team player who is able to deliver, collaborate and possesses fluency in English and French (in writing and speaking)
• Proven track record in stakeholder management on various levels of the organization: business Subject Matter Experts, technical experts and senior stakeholders
