Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree from a leading university; the CFA designation or another relevant professional qualification would be an advantage.
• Five years of relevant investment experience, preferably gained in hedge fund investing, fund selection, portfolio management, investment advisory or client solutions within an institutional investor, asset manager, private bank, fund of hedge funds or comparable organisation.
• Strong knowledge of hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction, performance drivers, risk considerations and liquidity terms, with the ability to communicate clearly to clients.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience with excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise institutional and private clients on hedge fund allocations, portfolio construction and tailored investment solutions.
• Manage and develop client relationships; participate in meetings and reviews and respond to queries.
• Partner with hedge fund research and portfolio management teams to understand managers, strategies, liquidity and risks.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality client materials, investment proposals and due diligence questionnaires.
• Contribute to the design of tailored hedge fund mandates and multi-manager solutions.
• Support business development through prospect meetings and pitches with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market developments and communicate insights on hedge fund strategies and portfolio implications.
• Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, operations and reporting teams for timely delivery.
