Alpiq Holding AG, headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, seeks a Project Manager to lead development and delivery of hydroelectric projects in Europe. You will provide technical, environmental and regulatory expertise during development phases and oversee delivery after the Final Investment Decision (FID).

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering from EPFL or equivalent.
• 5–10 years in technical development, engineering or delivery of hydro energy projects.
• Strong understanding of technical, environmental and regulatory aspects of hydropower.
• Experience managing studies, due diligences and external service providers.
• Fluent in English and another European language (Italian, French or German).

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to development teams evaluating hydropower projects across Europe.
• Coordinate the technical, environmental and regulatory due diligences required to support investment decisions.
• Define, manage and challenge engineering, geological, environmental and permitting studies carried out by external consultants.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules and risk assessments.
• Identify, assess and manage key technical, environmental, regulatory and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor permitting, grid connection and regulatory compliance processes in relevant European countries.
• Contribute to identifying and managing key stakeholders and anticipate risks impacting project development and execution.
• Participate in preparation of tenders and evaluation of proposals from consultants, engineering firms, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Coordinate internal technical teams as well as external consultants and partners involved in project development and delivery.
• Prepare technical assessments, executive summaries, risk evaluations and recommendations for decision-making bodies.
• Following Final Investment Decision (FID), assume responsibility for project execution through to commissioning.
• Ensure achievement of project objectives in terms of safety, quality, schedule and cost during execution.
• Prepare handover to operations and coordinate with operational teams.
