Senior HR Business Partner Advanced Synthesis Visp 80-100% (m/f/d)

The Senior HR Business Partner Advanced Synthesis will act as a coach, mentor and HR subject matter authority for the Advanced Synthesis Platform Visp, responsible for providing strategic HR partnership in all key HR areas with a focus on the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire including OD, workforce planning and driving transformation. This person will support their leadership teams both to set up and to ensure a balanced organization for the future and may be specified to lead local HR projects in Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management or Total Rewards.

Key responsibilities:

Provide HR leadership, consultation and mentorship for all people related matters to the senior managers of Advanced Synthesis.

Mentor and support line managers on current and future plans to craft their respective organizations and put in place organizational change plans to help their operations be successful.

Create and implement a strategic people plan for their organization that is aligned to Site/Global HR and business strategies. Critical areas to be addressed include talent and performance management, employee engagement, organisational planning, demonstrating global processes accordingly.

Establish and implement staffing plans in partnership with the recruitment team

Support line management in devising and implementing organizational change strategies crafted to drive efficiency, support growth and build high performing teams

Establish and drive engagement and development strategies to improve employee engagement (measured by “Voice of employees” surveys) and provide staff with development/career opportunities

Ensure administrative support as process champion and coordinate HR administrative duties and responsibilities with HR services supporting the site

Build collaborative and positive relationships with internal clients to ensure flawless HR support

Audit and continually seek to improve HR efficiency by supervising and reporting key measures.

Support the Advanced Synthesis HR Head with Growth Project work and drive assigned projects or initiatives end-to-end by collaborating with relevant parties

Key requirements:

Degree or equivalent experience in organizational development and HR

7-10 years of relevant HR experience, ideally having led a transformation project within a matrix HR organization, preferably in an international environment

Knowledge and experience in CH employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training and labor relations and HR strategy & operations

Full spectrum knowledge of HR Strategy & Operations
