Partners Group is seeking a Group Accountant to strengthen our finance function in an international, fast-paced environment. You will contribute to scalable consolidation and reporting, and help enhance our finance system landscape with automation and process improvements.

The role offers exposure to a publicly listed global financial institution reporting under IFRS, with collaboration across teams and international stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, Swiss CPA, Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Around five years of relevant experience, or a strong foundation gained directly through CPA/audit training.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including consolidation, statutory accounting, IFRS financial reporting, or related technical accounting areas.

• Assist with management reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis for key stakeholders.
• Prepare and/or review financial submissions, consolidation outputs, and accounting treatments for IFRS-compliant external reporting.
• Support the statutory accounting team with accounting matters, reporting inputs, and technical topics.
• Help improve the finance system landscape with automation, process efficiency, and data quality.
• Participate in finance-related projects across accounting, controlling, reporting, and systems.
• Support IFRS accounting topics, including new standards and complex transaction analysis.

Partners Group is looking for a Group Accountant to support and elevate our finance function in an international, fast-paced environment. In this hands‑on role, you will help bring our finance system landscape to the next level, contributing to scalable, high-quality consolidation and reporting processes across the firm. This is an exciting opportunity to combine strong accounting expertise with automation, process improvement, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to a publicly listed global financial institution reporting under IFRS Accounting Standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Group Financial Reporting team's closing and consolidation process, helping ensure accurate, timely and high-quality financial information as the basis for internal and external reporting
• Contribute to management reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial information for key stakeholders
• Prepare and/or review financial submissions, consolidation outputs, and accounting treatments to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards, including IFRS‑compliant external reporting's
• Support the statutory accounting team with accounting matters, reporting inputs, and technical finance topics
• Support the continuous improvement of the finance system landscape, focusing on automation, process efficiency, data quality, and reporting excellence. Leverage technology to reduce manual activities, improve controls and enhance the scalability of reporting and consolidation processes
• Participate in various finance‑related projects, working closely with teams across accounting, controlling, reporting, and systems
• Support technical IFRS accounting topics, including accounting assessments, implementation of new standards, and the analysis of complex transactions, with the opportunity to further develop expertise in these areas

What we expect

We are looking for a collaborative and detail‑oriented finance professional who brings:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, Swiss CPA, Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting, or equivalent are an advantage
• Around five years of relevant experience, or a strong foundation gained directly through CPA/audit training
• Strong accounting knowledge, including consolidation, statutory accounting, IFRS financial reporting, or related technical accounting areas
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify key movements, and communicate insights clearly
• A structured, accurate, and quality‑focused working style, with the ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Interest in finance systems, automation, and process improvement, ideally with exposure to S/4HANA Group Reporting, or similar consolidation tools
• Strong communication skills, combined with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders across functions and locations. Fluency in English is required
